Apollon will be a worldwide network of over a dozen observatories dedicated to the detection, characterization, and cataloguing of satellites, space debris, and NEOs.

Capable of observing the entire sky multiple times every 24-hour period, the Apollon network will collect optical data continuously, producing data products that include tracking data for satellites, calibrated image data for further photometric analysis, and, later, orbital trajectories and collision warnings for objects in orbit. All products will be available through our secure delivery systems or available through our custom-built data archive, which will be capable of storing tens of petabytes of images.

Groundbreaking worldwide coverage paired with bleeding edge hardware and software also gives Apollon huge scientific potential. Active mining of the imaging data will allow the creation of long-term photometric catalogues of stars and galaxies. And with years of imaging data, we expect to create the deepest all-sky image ever taken.
